Sometimes I have to tackle difficult subjects. And today I felt compelled to address a topic that is staring all of us right in the eyes: Islam. Here’s the thing… Islam is the 2nd fastest growing religion in the world, right behind Christianity. It’s important that we know what is at the core of this religion. Here are some (there are many more) differences between Islam and Christianity…
Islam: Jesus is just a prophet, not the Son of God. Allah is their god. The book they follow is the Quran (written by one man). The Quran promotes hate, most notably… hatred for America and Israel. The Quran promotes violence and war. At the core of Islam’s beliefs is domination. It is their goal to dominate the world. One Muslim leader said that he believes in fifty years they will have control of the entire world. Women are devalued and mistreated. Children (boys and girls) are brought up to believe that anyone who is not a Muslim (they call them infidels) need to be eliminated. Killing is the way they sacrifice to their god.
Christians: serve God Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and earth. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and they put their faith in Him for salvation. The Bible (written by over 40 men and inspired by the Holy Spirit) is the Christian’s book. The Bible promotes love, gentleness, peace, and compassion. Jesus always honored and respected women. Dying to self is the way we sacrifice to our God.
Islam has been invading the United States since the late 1970’s… slowing integrating into every area… our government, schools, communities, work places, and even in churches. One mega-church pastor was invited to speak at an Islam conference, where thousands of Muslims had gathered and he said that we – Christians and Muslims- should work together. That we have some of the same goals and that we should partner together. Here’s the thing… there is NO working side-by-side with Islam. Islam is a demonic religion, orchestrated by the Devil. According to our verse in 2 Corinthians, righteousness (light) should never partner with wickedness (darkness).
As I write this, I have a thought (you’ve probably had the same thought). During the Tribulation, the Antichrist and the False Prophet will create a one-world religion… commanding everyone to adhere to it or else they will be killed. The Mark of the Beast will be a major player in it. In today’s world, with the rise of AI and Islam, I wonder (just wonder) if Islam will be the religion that will dominate during the Tribulation.
So, what should we do about this? First, we should never vote for Muslims to serve in office. We should not be okay with mosques being built in our cities. We should stand against any Islam paraphernalia being spread around. But this brings me to our next question… how should we treat our Muslim neighbors or acquaintances? We should treat them like Jesus treated the Pharisees. He stood against the Pharisaic system because they were deceiving the people of God. But when Nicodemus, a Pharisee, came to talk to Jesus, Jesus invited him to sit down. Jesus showed him respect and honor and spoke truth into him. We should do the same. Muslims deserve our love and kindness, not our condemnation. They need to hear truth not be ignored. I hope this message today is just some food for thought.
