In all other religions, man is here, God is above, and man is always trying to make it to God by works. In Christianity, man is here, God is above, but He came to earth, lived among us, died in our place, and set us free. It wasn't anything we could have done, but Jesus did it for us.
Therefore, our identity is not in our wounds, but in His wounds. By His wounds you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Our identity is not in anything we have done, but in everything He did for us. The blood of Jesus set us apart from the world. It has washed us clean. You and I are royalty because we have the precious blood of Jesus flowing through us. So, wear the crown proudly.
